In November 2008, two leading sports timing solution companies, AMB i.t. and ChampionChip, merged to create an international market leader in the field of sport timing solutions for the motorized and active sports. Today we are pleased to introduce the new name of our organization: MYLAPS.

MYLAPS is the new brand that builds on twenty seven years of experience and market leadership, in timing and identification solutions, of the two world class Dutch organizations. MYLAPS offers a truly complete and comprehensive product portfolio for racers, athletes, race organizers, clubs, timers and spectators.
About the company
MYLAPS bundles forces to create total time keeping solutions ranging from event registration to result publication and result sharing for every type of motorized and active sports event around the world. Combining the resources of two experienced research and development teams has resulted in a streamlined product development process that will yield a ‘best of both worlds’ approach to new technological innovations.
We have combined 27 years of expertise and knowledge under one brand name: MYLAPS sports timing. MYLAPS enables us to better position our company in the market for our business customers as well as consumers. As a business that is financially sound, we believe that this is the time for us to invest in our existing products and new technologies. The investment in a new brand underlines our growth ambition and will serve as a platform to enhance the sports experiences for our customers. The goal of the new company is to take sports timing solutions to the next level.

With the merger of our two companies, our offering had become so diverse we needed to clarify and simplify our ever growing product and service portfolio. The MYLAPS name signifies what sports is all about. Your performance, your results, your laps; all available in one location, generated by MYLAPS. Every sport now gets its own platform starting with MYLAPS Car, Bike, MX, Kart, RC, Run, Cycle, Skate Swim and Sail. MYLAPS aims to help you to improve your sports experience and performance, which you can also do by being part of our online community.

MYLAPS sports timing also signifies a new start. A new start that reinforces the way we have worked together over the last 27 years and strengthens our relationships in the market. What's new online
The new website differentiates per sport to be able to provide you with the type of information that is most relevant for you.
When you visit the website for the first time, you are asked to specify your prefered sport (and country and language). On your next visit, the website will go directly to your prefered section.
Changing your section is easy by clicking on the sport in the footer of the website.

Online results
We continue to provide you with an online overview of your results. To go to the MYLAPS Results section, click on MYLAPS Results in the main menu of the website.
Race results can still be uploaded. If you use automatic uploads, nothing changes. If you use manual uploads, you have to go to the MYLAPS Results.
